Our Trainers

Kate has toured with the highly acclaimed NoFit State Circus. She has also taught for many years and currently runs a studio near Carcassonne in the south of France. Kate brings many skills and talents to the party including some insights into putting together a convincing professional performance.

Akasha is a performer and aerial teacher. She lives life with infectious enthusiasm! She has toured with Lux Theatre Company around Europe, co-created ‘Marionettas’ giant puppets. She has taught and flown with Airetiko since its conception. She has a passion for facilitating self-empowerment through aerial acrobatics and will be guiding students in positive practice.

Carinan is an aerialist, artist and bodyworker. She has performed at cabarets and festivals across the Uk and abroad. She is an artist creating sculptures, extraordinary costumes and events decor. She will be teaching aerial skills and choreography, focusing on how the body moves in space.     

Kitty has been involved in aerial arts for the last five years. Her favourites are constantly changing but currently her greatest love is rope. She also teaches handstands and has runs her own workshops in both London and Brighton. She also runs a very challenging Boot Camp where high impact training is her main focus. You can expect some boot camp conditioning at this year’s retreat. Everyone dreads it, but they all end up loving it.

Soozie is an inspiration to everyone who’s attended our retreats. She is the  head-honcho, having had the vision to set up Activity Retreats in 2016. She is qualified to teach up to intermediate level on pole and is our lead trainer. She also loves aerial and her favourite at the moment is hoop.

Our cooks

Paul has had a passion for cooking since he was a small boy. He has many years of experience running pubs and restaurants around the world. He plans meals to ensure a well balanced healthy diet throughout the week using organically grown vegetables and herbs from our own gardens.

Amy is a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist who has studied at the The College of Naturopathic Medicine London. Passionate about health and wellness and a keen foodie,  Amy prepares tasty and nutritionally balanced meals that compliment our retreat activities. She uses local, whole, organic, fresh and minimally processed foods.
